Joel Meyerowitz
Joel Meyerowitz (*1938 in New York) is an American photographer. Coming from the advertising industry, Meyerowitz began taking photographs in 1962. He quickly made a name for himself as a genre photographer documenting street scenes in the tradition of a Henri Cartier-Bresson. Today Meyerowitz is in charge of the image archive for the destroyed World Trade Center in New York.
