Albert Watson (b. 1942, Edinburgh) is a Scottish fashion photographer based in New York City. After studying film and television at the Royal College of Art in London, he moved to the United states, becoming a photographer for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ and fashion magazines. He also portrayed numerous celebrities and directed dozens of TV commercials.
His work has been presented at the National Portrait Gallery, London, the Smithsonian, Washington and the Deichtorhallen, Hamburg, among other institutions.
